Picked this up a while ago at Magnify, finally getting around to it today. Looked forward to this as it was nothing like their typical offerings and indeed, this was unique in their lineup. To be fair, the booze was high and this was a beast of a beer but it smelled, tasted, and felt like something that was much lighter than the 15.00% ABV, which was probably no easy feat to accomplish! I don't even like coconut but somehow, this beer won me over while keeping me warm and cozy on a cold day such as this!
The pour to this was nice, as the liquid was a dark, cola brown minus the bubbles. Plenty of mocha, bubbly head topped this off but surprisingly, there was very little lacing outside of the collar as there was only one thin layer beneath that. Lots of chocolate, coffee, and coconut in the nose with a hint of roasted nuts underneath that. A bit of bourbon stickiness, molasses, and brown sugar came through in the taste as it felt much thicker than it poured. Some sweetness from the coconut and an incredible smoothness took hold of me as this went down as smoothly as any Stout that I've ever had and reviewed on here.
Lot of alcohol here but you won't notice it with how well the end result was. Don't drink this to start a session off or on an empty stomach but otherwise, crack this open and dig in - this is as good as anything that's come out of my home state as the flavor profile and body were nicely balanced and enjoyable. Props to Magnify for hitting a home run with this as they stepped out of their comfort zone!

YYKM is a game changer. This is one of the best Stouts I've had. Pours jet black with slight foamy head. Drinks thick and chewy like a proper Stout should. So much flavor here. Def a brew to sip and enjoy slowly, do yourself a favor and let it warm quite a bit. The flavor just keep getting better as it warms. Fantastic beer. I've said for years that Kane is NJ's best mainly because of their dark beers - this is on par with anything I've had from Kane and is the best non barrel age'd Stout I've had. Well done. Can't wait for the next variant.

This was released 3 days ago.......Poured from can into HF Snifter
L-Black...........one fingered mocha head with moderate retention that settles into a slim foamy cap
S-Aroma is faint.........picking up notes of chocolate, coffee, some roastiness, mild smoke and some booze........traces of coconut which grow in strength as it warms
T-Similar to the nose.......mostly chocolate with some mild roastiness.........the coconut comes through in the finish kind of like a chocolatey coconut.......coconut becomes more pronounced as the beer warms......beer develops some complexity as it warms........mild lingering sweetness..........alcohol is well hidden for 15% ABV
F-Thick and creamy..........minimal carbonation.......
O-This beer needs to warm up for max enjoyment........next one I have I will let it sit for an hour before drinking as my fridge is set fairly cold.........at the moment base on my recollection, I prefer this one to the original which was much sweeter.......happy to have scored a 4 pack of this and look forward to enjoying the other 3
