This 4.9% Schwarzbier was lagered in oak for 8 weeks. Notes of chocolate, caramel and roasty flavors while remaining highly crushable.

Drinking a local brewery Magnify No Limit. This is a Schwartzbier lager, 4.9%. Magnify has become kind of an IPA factory, plus desert stouts and thick sweet sour beers. Not my favorite so when they release things like a dark lager, I make it a point to buy. This one pours thick and black, like a stout. Aroma is of dark chocolate malts. Taste is almost smoky, chocolate, malty, delicious. Mouthfeel is very thick, especially for a 4.9% beer. Overall a great beer. Cheers!

Light in body, dark in color, and roasty in flavor. I could have a lot of these.
