12 ounce can poured into a Pilsner glass.
Apart from some chill haze it pours clear and straw in color showing some slowly rising bubbles bolstering the two finger white head. The sudsy foam is persistent and leaves clumps of lace as it recedes over several minutes.
It gives off some bread aroma at first before lemon grass and spicy hop aromas take over the Pilsner-like nose. Grassy hops and assertive bitterness dominate the flavor profile. Light bodied with medium carbonation for a light crisp bite before a smooth finish with a slightly fuller feel.
I believe this would be better paired with food, which may be the intent since it was brewed as a restaurant collaboration.
