Slightly veiled dark golden color with low activity and yeast cloud. Light creamy and bubbly beige 2-3 finger head, wuth okay legs and a good swirl reaction. Flavors of sweet barley, oats, caramel, lemon, pears, light pineapples and grapefruits, coriander, clove, brett yeast, with floral and herbal hops (mosaic). Slick and smooth medium to full body with a good crisp. Medium to strong strength finish, bready with a moderate butterscotch maillard effect, shy bardyard feel with a soft flowery and leafy sensation. Moderately spicy and vinous, feels more like 8% ABV. A bit too heavy, lacking fluffiness, also too much sugars. Good freshness though, decent complexity and balance. Cross Saison/IPA. Overall very good quality craft.

Serving: Bottle
Bottled: Sep-12-2016
A:
Pours clearish orange straw with loagy finger of airy white head, drops to chunky little cap. (4)
S:
Thick, rich doughiness with some orange and spicy/floral yeast accents. (3.75)
T:
Crisp, toasted malty wave, some funky brett with thin citrus tinge and increasingly herbal hop finish. (3.75)
M:
Active carbonation, medium body, dry finish. (4)
O:
Decent beer.
It kinda seems like the bastard child of a biere de garde, a saison and a marzen. It could be a little more aromatic and a little less malty for my tastes but it is pretty clean tasting which definitely helps it out in my eyes. Might have again. (3.75)

Bottle: Poured a nice bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of herbal notes with floral hoppy notes and light spicy notes is pretty interesting. Taste is a nice mix of light Bretty notes with dry herbal notes with light hoppy citrusy notes with some spicy yeasty notes also perceptible. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Well brewed for the style thought missing a little bit of attenuation.
