The beer pours a huge and voluminous white head that leaves a lot of foam around. The beer itself is a very beautiful clear metallic pale gold color. It's pretty good looking.

The smell is decent. It has a good sweet note with a creamy corn note and a bit of light bitter grass hop note.
The taste is pretty good for the style. It has a more pronounced bitter hop note that is more noticeable and the corn is creamier but the edge goes more to the hop note.

The feel is a medium body with a creamy feel to it and light carbonation. It's pretty fluffy but heavy at the same time.

Overall, a decent beer and one of the better adjunct lagers compared to the BMC.

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours a pale straw color with a small fizzy white head that has short retention and settles to a ring around the edge

S- toasted corn nuts, grains, crackers, light grass

T- clean up front, followed just a hint of sweetness, some light vegetal notes, the finish is dry and leaves a nice toasted cracker-like linger

M- light body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp, dry, biting finish

O- this is the first adjunct lager I've had that didn't have an off-puting disgusting finish, which proves that this style can be tolerable. On a hot summer day, I could go through a 4pack of these very quickly

Golden color, malty, toasted corn notes & cracker.. some herbal / citrus hop notes. MIld bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Med-light feel. Not a fan of the style, but it is the best of the style I have had.

16 oz can dated 10/17/16 and poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: 2F head with decent retention, not much lacing. Leaves tiny ring. Beer is a pale, slightly hazy straw gold.

S: Very malt-heavy, grains and roasted corn alike, as befits a Mexican lager. Grassy notes.

T: Roasty grains and corn malts, grassy and herbal notes. Toasty and a little bit of citrus.

F: Light to medium bodied, medium to medium-well carbonated. Nicely constructed and balanced. Probably a bit too carbonated, but still somewhat crushable and pretty refreshing.

O: Craft lagers are the next big thing and this is a very good example of what the future holds, I hope.

Most crushable Mexican Lager ever. Drank from several long stemmed wine glasses as well as cans. Had to bring my own damn lime to the brewery, but I don't mind slicing limes with a pocket knife.
