Droid Charger is our first ever IPL. Clocking in at 6.2%, we hopped this one with crazy amounts of Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo. We basically took a standard IPA recipe we would normally brew and fermented it with lager yeast and lagered/conditioned the final product for a few more weeks.

16 oz can dated 6/27/17, poured into Aslin Teku glass.
L: 3F head, good retention, spotty lacing and a cap and ring. Unfiltered, so slightly opaque once you get through chill haze. Nice deep golden color.
S: Definitely smells more like an IPA than a lager, with lots of ripe citrus and earthiness. Tough to grade given that. Ultimately, it smells good, so give it a good grade.
T: Taste is more lager-like, at least. Citrus up front, yeasty and malty in middle, but with some earthiness on the back end. This seems about right for an IPL. Also it tastes good.
F: Light side of medium bodied, pretty well-carbonated. Wouldn't call it entirely crisp and refreshing, but in that general area.
O: This strikes me as a solid prototype of what an IPL should be. Disappointed to see so little interest.
