Sam from Other Half is the next iteration in our dedication not collaboration series. We met Sam a few years ago and became homies almost instantly. @otherhalfnyc is an incredible brewery that plays a huge part in the rapidly growing and exciting NYC beer scene. Their branding and beers are inspiring. We made a beer that we would think Sam would be proud of. We made a 10% Imperial Dry-hopped Imperial India Pale Ale. We hopped it with Citra, Nelson, Kohatu, and high oil Cascades from Segal Ranch.

Hazy dark yellow with a bubbly fuzz.
Smell is grainy and vegetal of peanut, weeds, grapefruit, vanilla, mint and garlic. WTF?!
Taste is also grainy with a wheaty presence. There's that peanut again. And the mint and vanilla notes give this a tea-like flavor.
Light of body with a thin, bubbly carbonation, finishing dry, this one's weird...but interesting.

Pours a hazy grapefruit juice color with a thick, clingy white head.
The smell is citrus, pine, and bitter hops. There's stone fruit in there too.
The taste is focused on the stone fruit with only a little bitterness and a very small burn from the 10%. The citrus is there but takes a back seat.
The mouthfeel is slightly heavy on the carbonation but thick.
Another great beer from Veil thanks to vabeerguy.

Pour a murky muddy orange to deep yellow. Decent off white head on heavy pour. Nose of tropical fruits, citrus peel, floral and grass. Taste of citrus up front with notes of pineapple. A bit of floral and pine mingle as well. Nice creamy body with a dry moderately bitter kick to finish.

Pours an opaque muddy light orange color with a well retained one inch white head that left lots of lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits with an earthy quality. Tastes of pink grapefruit, a hint of pith, orange, peach, pear, floral notes and an onion finish. Medium to full bodied, well carbonated, dry finish and moderate bitterness.

Poured a light orange body with decent head that slowly died. Aroma is sweet and slightly floral with strong notes of tropical fruits and grapefruit. Crisp, little bite, floral hop edge, but mostly a smooth and easy drinking beer w/ sweet tropical fruit and white grapefruit sweetness and is easy drinking (well-hidden ABV as well).
