whitemiata is the 6% IPA version of our beloved Citra/Galaxy DIPA whiteferrari. The luxuriously soft mouthfeel and beautiful integration of two of our fave hops all together in a more crushable ABV.

Hazy apricot color. Citrusy and tropical hop aroma and flavor; passionfruit and peach ? Fruity and juicy. Good balance with light bitterness. Medium to light bodied and lightly smooth.

Appeareance: Pours a cloudy golden color with a two finger head; good retention and clumpy lacing
Smell: Pineapple, tangerine and lemon/lime tones
Taste: Lemon/lime forward with pineapple developing; through the middle the sweet and bitter tangerine flavors emerge; moderate bitterness with a balanced finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: A very pleasant NE IPA, right down the middle for me

Served on-tap in a shaker pint at Kardinal Hall (Charlottesville, VA).
Whitemiata from The Veil provides a superior NEIPA bringing subtle counterpoints of tropical and citrus fruitiness with more chalky, gritty physical hop character to the feel and bitterness. It avoids the gritty, green finish I have not enjoyed as much in The Veil beers and instead finishes with a tropical fruity flourish.

Pours a nice bright orange but not much head at all, probably my fault. Aroma is all citrus, not bad at all. Flavor is balanced, quite interesting between the evident juicy hit upfront and the bitter rind on the back end. Hoppy but not too sweet. Some good dankness as well. Finishes a little dry, mouth coating as well. Overall a good straightforward IPA that's better than a generic juice bomb.

16oz can dated 9/2/22.
Pours cloudy yellow with plenty of spongy lacing and moderate retention. Peach, white grape, orange in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Peach and orange with pink grapefruit. Finishes fairly dry with lingering juice.

The beer pours a strong white head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a pale but bright straw yellow. The smell and taste have a light to moderate bitter orange hop note with a decent sweet pale malt note of light honey. The body is light and smooth with a dry finish to it.

On tap, pours a very hazy orange. Nice head and lacing. Smell is a Citra bomb: catty, dank and fruity. Taste follows. Feel is bigger than the ABV. Fantastic beer.
