Glowing orange-gold fluid with full, juicy haze but no murk or floaties. Really creamy looking. Nice initial head of bright white bubbles but the head doesn't last long and settles into a latte foam cap. Little bit of splotchy lacing down the glass. Wonderful looking hazy for 6%.
Aroma profile is wonderful with a big blast of natural weedy herb and green onion followed by waves of citrus and and tropical fruit. Very dank and earthy, but good notes of pine resin and bright fruits to balance things out. Really exceptional nose.
Unfortunately the taste profile doesn't match the smell, though it's still quite good. Nice pithy grapefruit and bright citrus up front, with tropical fruit notes in the second tier. The weedy/oniony note washes in harmoniously at first, but then a starchy green hits the palate. It's not offputtingly sharp but it's definitely not additive. Semi-sweet fruit juice behind the starchy greens, with a pretty dry, bitter, pithy grapefruit finish. I'm definitely enjoying each swallow but the transition from aroma to taste is a small letdown.
Feel is silky and smooth but in line with a 6% ABV hazy despite the creamy look in the glass. Coating but not sticky or chewy at all.
Very good beer but it would be world class if not for the starchy bite.

On tap, pours a hazy light orange. Smell is catty (yep) and full of citrus and tropical fruits. Loads of tangerine on the nose. Taste follows. Feel is smooth and bigger than you'd have any right to expect at this ABV. Another killer IPA from Veil. Loved.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellowish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A solid aroma of dank hops, malt, citrus fruit, an earthy quality, pine, and some tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a light earthy quality (not a big component), a good shot of dank hops, light pine notes, some citrus (tangerines), and a little tropical fruit (mango). This is a deeper, earthier flavor than some IPAs, but it manages to work pretty well. Tasty stuff.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A sharp and tasty IPA. Worth a look.

The beer pours a nice white head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself has a nice fairly yellow and opaque look with a very very light orange hue.
The smell has some herbal tea notes with a light orange to it. The taste has similar notes but with a slight pine in the finish. The body is medium but very drinkable with a slight dry finish.
Overall, good.
