The beer pours a nice white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a good looking clear and metallic golden yellow. IT really does look good.
The smell is fairly simple but intriguing. It has a good wooden note that mixes well with a nice orange citrus note. There is a slight vanilla note from the aging that sweetens the beer very well to act as a moderating influence on the more bitter and tarty notes.
The taste is pretty good. It has a strong bitter and earthy orange note that mixes well with a lighter wooden barrel note. A slight vinegar taste comes as well that gives the funk a new bit of strength.
The feel is good. It's a medium bodied beer on the lighter side with an acidic finish. The carbonation is fairly bubbly.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer. While it isn't as mind blowing as some of their other offerings, this one will definitely satisfy.
