The beer pours a nice and fizzy white head that dissipates very quickly while the beer itself is a clear golden orange that looks very nice.
The smell is very good with a variety of notes that come really well together and not what you expect from a saison. The smell has an overall wooden notes with subtle vanilla and cherry notes mixed with an orange citrus smell.
The taste is a bit more orange citrus and wooden barrel than the smell, which is disappointing because of how interesting the smell is.
The feel is pretty good. It has a thin and medium body with biting carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall, a delicious beer worth having especially given how subdued this wild ale is compared to their other offerings.

This one pours a soft looking yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pear, vanilla, cherry skin, white wine, pineapple, and strawberry.
This is really complex. The cherry wine barrels add a lot to it. There's obviously cherry, but I also get strawberry and pear, and some lemony funk. There's white wine, too, vanilla as well, and a bit of grassiness.
This is very creamy and light and delicate, with a great level of drinkability.
This shows a nice level of restraint that I assumed the Veil was not capable of. This is good stuff.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.
Beaming gold body color, with a hint of brass and touch of faint clarity. The body has this wonderful glow to it, a real nice polished look. A very slow decant doesn't provide much head, but some center punching provides a light collar and a small island on top. There is a very fine small column of carbonation in the center that can be seen.
Very nice aroma. Soft sensing qualities of fruit, an intersting mix of strawberry blueberry quality, and a real surprising touch of vanilla. Some hints of peaches too which gives this great peaches and cream like flavor on the nose. Very nice.
Palate takes a bit more simple direction. Light bodied with a bit more of a noticeable malt base than hits on estery fruit flavors. More of a touch of light sweet graham crackers and milk with a touch of peach like quality. Fruitier components still make an appearance but are a little less noticeable in taste than on the nose before. Light touches of more stone fruit, less sharp acidic quality which is nice.
A bit of a subdued wild funky brew, but has some very nice qualities.
