The beer pours a fairly light off white head that dissipates quickly. Beer itself is a good looking dark coffee black . Smell is very good. Has a nice strong cinnamon upfront and buoyed by a good coffee note. Not much else. Taste is also cinnamon and coffee with a slight bourbon note in the finish. There is a tiny bit of toffee that comes out but the regular barley wine notes seem to have been drowned out. The feel is good. It has a bit of coffee thinness to it but robs it of the thick heavy body that barleywines have. Overall, decent but not overwhelming. Very sweet.

The adjuncts on this Barleywine was pretty different, but I found it to be dialed in just right and help this bwizzle stand out from the pack. Executed well.
