Canned ~7/23/19
Pours a mostly opaque dark golden yellow capped with a finger of pillowy white foam which quickly recedes to a thick cap and limited strands of lacing; a few large chunks of sediment hang toward the bottom of the glass.
Aromas open with freshly-squeezed orange juice spearheading the tropical medley of papaya and mango along with some light melon and lemon zest; a light sweetness appears toward the close.
Taste is heavily tropical still, showing plenty of clementine, tangerine, and to a lesser extent, mango, but now with a steady buildup of herbal/earthy hoppiness taking form through the mid-palate onward; the profile stays relatively simple, but satisfying.
Mouthfeel shows a denser medium body with a maintained hoppy grit and bitterness just beneath the surface; evens out over the palate to something more juicy and mild, with a somewhat slick finish informed with just a touch of acidity.
A straightforward NEIPA that between a high drinkability and smooth profile, checks all the boxes sufficiently, but leaves me wanting just a bit more to reach that next level; a trait I've found in many Veil beers. Nonetheless, all-around satisfying for sure.

It pours a hazy golden with a pulp orange juice like complexion. Picking up lots of citrus notes off the nose. It is orange juice-like with limited complexity or depth. A little peppery bitterness on the finish.

Received from @vabeerguy. Poured from undated can into a pint glass. It pous a dense, opaque orange color with brownish hues, and a thin, milk white head and minimal lacing. Its nose features tangerine, lemon, onion, and lite floral hops. It's really fruity with tart tarngerine and orange, a hint of vanilla, and the soft, plush flavor of the Kohatu, Galaxy, Motueka, and Vic Secret hops, which add lots of flavor but very little bitterness. The taste is bright and fruity. It has a moderate body with a peasant level of carbonation, and it's easily drinkable at 6% ABV. Overall, this is a delightfully fruity and easy drinking American IPA. Nothing fancy but really good!
