Hazy grapefruit/OJ. Big hoppy aroma and flavor with every characteristic you can think of since this is a hop salad; juicy. Good balance with moderate bitterness. Medium bodied and fairly smooth.

Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours orange and turbid. Some yeasties are at the bottom of the glass. It is topped with an inch of off white head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is sweet and with tropical fruit and melon. Hints of grapefruit.
It has a sweet flavor upfront. Then I get tropical and melon. Light grapefruit in the finish.
Medium bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel
This is a pretty tasty brew. The best of the Veil IPAs that I have had so far.

Pours an opaque, burnt sunflower orange body capped with a finger and a half of fluffy, white foam; great head retention leaves a thin layer of cap, a moderate, frothy collar, and myriad soapy, webby/spotty lacing spread around the walls of the glass.
Aroma features an intital orange marmalade intensity cut with a hint of lemon and developing a Simcoe-level stank (despite not being involved in the hop bill), highlighting grassy spice, black peppercorn husk, semi-sweet bay leaf, and a tinge of oregano into the back end as citric impressions of clementine and red grapefruit close the bouquet.
Taste opens with forward notes of orange tang into spent-citrus undertones of musty lemon, with red grapefruit and overripe cantaloupe encompassing the mid-palate and a sweet malt/herbal finish with an edge of resinous, almost syrupy tropical fruit saturation.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-light body and a delicately fluffy, moderate carbonation; a juicy, bright twang glazes the entirety of the palate as an intermittent bitterness presents through an increasingly taut back end; the finish is bright and sports a fleeting hop acidity lingering past the swallow.
Hoppy cacophonies ring throughout this NEIPA, with a profile transitioning indecisively from earthy ripeness to outright sweetness; a more focused approach to this level of intensity would do this one well, but as is, it is still an enjoyably stimulating take on the style.
