"Lager brewed with our friends @notchbrewing during their visit to Richmond for our Forever Summer Festival. We used a modern/modified take on a traditional decoction mash process, lots of floor-malted wheat, a touch of smoked wheat, then hopped with fresh Saaz as well as some aged whole leaf hops that we typically reserve for our Lambic-inspired beers. Burn was then cold-conditioned to perfection for two months. " From the website.
I tried the lager because it was the lowest % they had. I don't like lagers unless they have stupid amounts of hops in them. This one was not hoppy and it kind of bummed me out. If you are going to mess around with lagers guys, how about a dry-hopped one? or maybe an xtra pale ale or pilsner..something dry in the finish.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
