French toast inspired Imperial Oatmeal Stout with vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon aged for over a year in Laird's Apple Brandy barrels. It’s a collaborative effort with Monkish Brewing Co., Cloudwater Brew Co, Other Half Brewin, Company Trillium Brewing Company. Tastes like french toast drenched in maple syrup with powdered sugar.

Maybe with a side of cooked apples. Incredibly viscous much like maple syrup itself.

500ml bottle

Look: pours completely black, brownish colored foam

Smell: apple brandy, cinnamon, chocolate and some vanilla

Taste: Dark chocolate, the apple brandy shines through really nice. The beer is a little too sweet for me to really like it.

Mouthfeel: very thick and viscous. In combination with the sweetness it's quite heavy and overwhelming.

Overall: Great beer, but a little too sweet in my opinion. Great beer for a share with friends.

On draft at The Veil Norfolk

Look: Jet black with a thin mocha head

Smell: Cinnamon toast crunch, apple brandy, oak, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and warming vanilla.

Taste: I mean it’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch with chocolate milk spiked with apple brandy. That’s it.

Feel: Thick and cloying. Very sweet. Moderate alcohol given the ABV. No acidity. No bitterness.

Overall: It delicious but I only had about 4oz and that was more then enough. Excellent bottle share beer.
