A gift from my son-in-law Bryan. Corked and capped. Poured into a small-stemmed tulip. A saison with some wild ale/sour qualities. A bright fresh beer. 4.25
A – Pours a clear golden yellow with a three-finger white fluffy head. Some sediment is present, which resulted in cloudiness in subsequent pours. 4.25
S – Aromas of funk, cat piss, citrusy lemon, crackers and lactic acid. 4.0
T – Starts as a saison but finishes as a light refreshing sour. Some bitterness but more sourness. 4.25
MF – Medium bodied with a dry sour finish. 4.0

Poured as a nice hazy yellow color with a good amount of foamy white head on top. The smell of the beer was a little funky with some spicy hops and yeast in the mix. The taste of the beer had some slight earthy peppery notes with some brighter citrus in the mix. The feel of the beer was nice and dry, finished with a tanginess to it. Overall a very nice Saison from a brewery that doesn't tackle this style too much.
