This one pours a very thick looking dark black color, with a very small head, and no lacing.

This smells very sweet, with boozy honey, spiced apples, milk chocolate, coffee, marshmallow syrup, brownie batter, dark fruit, and graham cracker.

This is extremely tasty and super decadent, but it’s pretty dumb. Like, it’s meant to be ridiculous, and it definitely does taste good. A pretty small amount of this would be perfect. There’s a lot of barrel character here, mostly apple brandy, but just the slightest hint of caramel and char from the bourbon.

This is very thick, a bit syrupy, and quite sweet, with very little booziness on it.

If you have this bottle, share with a lot of people. It’s delicious but it’s just so big and silly.

The beer slowly pours a bubbly brown head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a dark chocolate dark brown that strongly resembles a nice black color. The texture appears to have a nice syrup like look mixed with melted chocolate frosting to it. It looks really nice.

The smell is absolutely delicious. The smell starts with a honey and graham cracker note with a nice roasted chocolate note to it. The honey continues while the apple brandy notes quickly overwhelm the smell. The vanilla and marshmallow notes immediately follows those notes and takes over them.

The taste is delicious and indulgent. The apple brandy and honey notes come upfront and tend to dominate the taste through the whole thing. The sweet chocolate and vanilla come out towards the end and the chocolate taste lingers for a while. The bourbon comes out a little but the brandy is the one that stands out. The marshmallow also comes in more at the end.

The feel is very good. It has a very heavy body and thick, creamy texture with a slightly sticky finish. There is very little, if any, carbonation.

Overall, this is an indulgent and delicious beer worth having to drive all the way to Richmond.
