This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like dark chocolate, hazelnut frosting, toasted walnuts, nutty chocolate cake, bourbon, and vanilla.
This is definitely decadent, but it’s not quite as sweet as some of the more ridiculous Veil beers. The nuttiness is off the charts, sweet but toasty, earthy and delicious, with a chocolate cake vibe, lots of vanilla, and a spicy hit of bourbon to balance the sweetness.
This is medium bodied, super creamy, and velvety, with a great drinkability. There’s basically no booziness here.
The Veil doesn’t always hit hard for me, but this one definitely did.
