Above average, crisp, clean, light lager. Taste is corn, light bodied malt, and bread.

Got from raulmondesi. 16 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt/grains and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Light lingering resins/rinds after the finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a delicious unfiltered lager. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/drying finish. Not aggressively bitter; flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pils malt/grain showcase, with great noble hop presence/balance for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts. Zero residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

This is an outstanding pale lager which I found in a small shop in downtown LA.
Pale straw-gold, it has a very big white head slowly shrinking to a thin foamy top, a little lace.
Aroma is wonderful, bright herb, hay and grass with hint of apple peel.
Taste is outstanding crisp, zesty herbal bitterness, lightly minty with a bright "green" herbaceous quality, with haw, straw, yeasty bready hint and hint of mineral. It is lean and light but very characterful and excellently balanced, the slightly soft yeasty breadiness just enough to round out the lean, lively minty-herb-and-straw character.
A wonderful, engaging sesion beer and unusually characterful American beer for 4.2% abv.
