This is not a sweet, malty Märzen (though we love those too!). We start with a simple yet robust grain bill. Featuring all Weyermann Specialty Malts heritage floor malted grains, specifically Barke Pilsner, Barke Vienna & Barke Munich malts. Hopped in the kettle with a moderate bittering addition of Hallertau Mittlefrüh, then we give it a touch of Mandarina Bavaria right at the end of the boil. The beer was fermented low and slow with our house German lager yeast for many weeks. Once we deemed it to have reached its maximum level of refreshment capability, we threw it in cans and kegs and are serving it to you just a couple days later. Fresh 5% abv German lagerbier for the start of Fall, not much makes us happier than that.

Released on/canned around 8/5/25; consumed on 12/2/25
Pours a crystal-clear, honey-gold body sporting steady effervescence and capped with two fingers of fluffy, off-white foam; good head retention leaves a slight layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, and generous spread of sudsy, webby lacing encircling the walls of the glass. 4.5
Aroma Teddy Grahams, brown bread, toasted malt undertone, 4.25
Taste wildflower honey, black bread, biscuit, subtle earthiness and a pang of minerality on the close 3.75
Mouthfeel light body, ample, rounded carbonation, gentle spritz into flaky dryness, clean, slight prickle grazes the finish 3.75

Really clean and refreshing. Only gripe would be to put a date on the can.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the goblet. Very nice sudsy and spritzy mouthfeel. Aroma of grain and roasted malt. Modest sweetness and inviting malty flavor with some caramel but also a tangy edge. Some leafy hop notes and a finish like the resiny Euro hops. Overall this is a better than average Oktoberfest and highly enjoyable with the plentiful flavor. From the 16 oz can purchased in the far Northwest. No apparent date.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Can date is illegible, but seems to have an "07" in the middle and a "25" at the end. Fairly sure I picked this up in New Mexico and brought it home.
Pours clear light amber, medium sized head on the pour, settles into a thin even skin that gets sparse near the edges but clings nicely for almost a centimeter up the side of the glass. Smell is bready and grassy with a little earthy / dusty background, barley tea is quite evident.
Taste is similar -- moderate grainy sweetness, nice grassy earthy bitterness. Very crisp bitterness in the earthy direction, nice background of rising bread.
Mouthfeel is light, smooth, clean, crisp. Very nice beer.

good, subtle, but good, and im stoked to have these guys selling beer in idaho now. this is on the lighter side, even in that festbier space which is lighter to begin with, bright brassy colored with an airy inch of white head from the tap with some wobbly ring lacing as it drinks down. the nose on it is german, a little more fruity than most on the hop side but still with some bitterness, bready but pale and dry, and very well lagered with an old world strain it seems, nice proportions, a little personality, but extra mellow to me as these go. a bit of a biscuity front end, simple on the malt side but not lacking flavor, a touch of honey sweetness but only for a flash early, then its husky and earthy and drier. light citrus to the hops, very fresh, and with modest noble spiciness as well, good evolution on the palate as this warms up some. the yeast is classic and works real well here, and the fermentation is where this shows its high quality most clearly, crisp for being grainy, snappy and refreshing without being bland or too fast, and it seems like an easy ripper for this time of year, a good football beer, a session drinker that is still seasonal. certainly not the most exotic beer these guys make, but the quality is there. looks like they do an oak fermented festbier too, hope that one comes around, sounds wonderful! this is simple in a good way, tidy, and was a pleasure to put away!

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, head diminishes quickly. Grainy aroma, sweet, honey. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, almost a honey like sweetness, pale malts, but missing the real toasty, caramel notes of the style

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead 10-15-19 for $2.79. Canned on 9-19-19; consumed on 12-15-19.
Beer poured golden with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is grainy; notes of wheat bread are present.
Taste is a nice toasted malt base, wheat bread forward with a touch of light nuttiness. Finishes clean and enough noble hopping to balance nicely.
Mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp and refreshing.
Overall a nice Fest beer i am glad to have tried.
