they brewed this one before they were even open i think, pretty cool introduction to the colorado beer market. nice to see someone just launch with a beer this ambitious. i love the berliner style sourness to it, the fuller bodied wheat base, and the herbaceous almost spicy profile that comes from the yeast and the other additives. refreshing beer, real drinkable, not overly strong, and well made. one of the better collaboration beers i have had in some time. it look like a series that is going to continue. the newer saison i think is a nelson dry hopped edition, less dramatic, but still a cool continuation of the mission. this is nice and dry in the finish, really well carbonated, and nice for the summer. the brett could be a little more interesting in here, its almost a non factor. wish there were more of it, but it almost doesnt miss it. looking forward to trying a lot more beers from these guys, they all look this inventive and inspired. believe the hype folks!
