Dark brown with an underlying purplish tinge. Soapy, off-white head that quickly fades. Definitely getting the berries on the nose and on the palate, but there seems to be a lack of clarity or balance on the flavor profile. The malt somewhat subdues the blackberry more than other fruit beers, and the body is more chewy than refreshing. Could use some cleanup.
