Thanks to Mbgreg for this one. Received in NBS BIF #15.
16 oz can, undated, poured into my Drowned Lands Becher glass.
Turbid, straw to gold in hue, abundant tightly packed foamy head pumps 2+ fingers in height. Great retention, clumpy lacing.
Nose starts with a pop of grass and pine, then juicy notes of orange, mango, and papaya follow. All of this on top of a base of mildly sweet grain notes.
Flavor is awash with orange, grapefruit, weedy notes akin to onion and grass, and mildly juicy papaya. All of this carried by a slightly sweet, fluffy & gristy, grain note.
Mouthfeel is fluffy, medium, actively carbonated, and finishes slightly bitter and almost earthy in a tropical way.
Overall, a nice one on a warm spring day.

A: Pours a murky medium golden burnt orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright orange + dark golden yellow + bright yellow + apricot + amber colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering approximately 35% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/mango + tropical/papaya + tropical/passionfruit + dank hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a just shy of moderate amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a just shy of moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/mango + tropical/papaya + tropical/passionfruit + dank hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving moderate lingering tropical + dank hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of slightly creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol with a very pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with more tropical + dank hops but still some citrus in there as well. I could easily have a couple of these but I have a feeling they would really sneak up on you.
