Pours a crystal clear straw yellow color with a thick white head that recedes quickly but leaves decent lacing. The aroma is bready malts and lemon. Flavor is a touch sweet but some nice hop notes balance everything nicely. Feel is crisp and well carbonated. Nice beer overall.

This beer hits some sentimental notes with me; my Dad loves elderberries, my Mom loves tea. I grew up very exposed to both. I get both in the taste and finish of this beer. A unique well done lager.

From the Peacock pack, I think this one may be my favorite. Poured into a willibecher, clear bright deep gold color with a bright 2 finger head that subsides after a bit and leaves minimal lacing. Nose has a lot of great grain, herbal flowery notes, and some light fruitiness (strawberry, maybe), too, which comes through more powerfully on the tongue. The taste more or less follows...lots of different notes (grain, fruit, a little light spiciness) but everything in excellent harmony, and a little lager yeast and pepper in there too. Carb is middling and the feel is substantial, with lots of great malt, without being heavy. Another really great lager from Schell's!

This beer pours a clear gold with a large head. The aroma is bright and fresh with notes of tangerine peel, white plum, elderflower, sunflower seed, green mango, and clementine juice. The flavor starts with sweet wheat bread malt, then comes a mild bitterness, with black pepper, clove, tangerine peel, kiwi, and banana chips. The mouthfeel is light but oily, with soft carbonation. Overall this is a really wonderful beer - the aroma is incredibly bright and enticing, and while the flavor is less exciting, it is still complex and well done.

Quite golden (dark) and very clear. Chalk white head. Sticky lacing. Pick up the hops, in the aroma, mostly, and less of the elderflowers and camomile, although the later are there but very subtle. Largely a firm malt character in both aroma and taste. Very drying finish which brings out the added ingredients. Heavy body for style, but typical of many lager this brewery makes. Cuts a bit into the cleanliness of the finish. Lager is light enough so the additional ingredients pick up as it warms and opens up. Pleasing subtle hop fruit in the taste. Blends nicely.

Floral aroma, with a bit of fruit and spice. Clear, golden, tall thick head, lots of lacing, lots of carbonation. Moderate to light mouth feel. Strong flavor of melon, floral, and spice. Mild at the beginning, but a somewhat bitter middle and finish. Finish mouth feel is a bit sticky, but a really good taste.

Clear golden color with a large head that settles to a thick cap. Aroma of flowers, honeydew, and strawberries. The chamomile is a bit too strong in the flavor but then Huell Melon is not really a flavoring hop. Nice dry pilsner, pale malt foundation. Slightly fruity finish. Light body with lively carbonation that fits this lighter tasting beer. The dry nature of the beer really aids in consumption. I think without the chamomile I would of enjoyed it far more.

White head with lace. Golden color. Clear. The spice from the elderflower and chamomile. Bready malts. Dry. Earthy hops. Crisp and clean. Light bodied.
