Had on tap. Poured a dark mahogany orange, with a finger of white foam. Smell is dried cherry, raspberry, wood, and then a booze mixture with dark smoky elements from the bourbon and vinous elements and grape from the red wine, a lot going on. The taste really puts it all together, with some balsamic mixed in, with wonderful contrasting sweetness and bitterness, sweet wetness and boozy dryness, and popping fruit and stable wood. A well made ale in the body, with a full yet highly textured feel
