Not sure what happened to my review. Drank a lot of both batches of this. Such a delicious crusher between two awesome breweries. Zesty, bready, crisp, clean, hoppy.

12oz can fill date Sept 01, 2022 into a 12oz Becher.
L: Pours clear rich gold caramel w a 1/2" creamy off-white head w very good retention, good carbo, some sticky lacing, banding & sheeting.
S: Toasted malts, toasted honey bun, caramel, grains, a suggestion of banana.
T: Taste pretty much follows smells with added tastes of firm caramelized malts & a hint of green grass. It has a velvety bitterness and an affable paleness. Fairly full-flavoured and slightly rich.
F: Crisp, well-balanced med-lite bodied w satisfying carbonation lasting throughout. It has a med-length finish w a slight linger.
O: A crispy golden American lager Germanic in style with excellent flavor and a great feel. Easy drinking, masterfully brewed and it is outstanding in its style.

16oz can
Hazy goldenish, nice cap, filled with translucent sediement like a yellow-orange snowglobe. Smell goes a little flat and metallic. The beer also has a metallic bitter tinge to it that is sorta unpleasant. I love schells beers but this one is a miss, tastes like their signature lagers but more sweet with tons of honey flavor and character. Not my bag

Sweet, bready smell. Spicy.
Golden-yellow body, initially with a chill haze, but clears up after a few minutes. Nicely carbonated. 3/4 inch white head from a fairly gentle pour. Within a few minutes, the head recedes to a thick cap. Attractive lacing as you take a drink.
The taste is slightly sweet, bready malts, grassy, a nicely bitter middle and finish. The hops are more assertive in the taste than was evident in the aroma. Grassy and moderately bitter. There is an underpinning of honey and bread. The finish is clean, with the hops bitterness lingering into the aftertaste providing a crisp finish.
The mouth feel is smooth with moderate to thin body.
Overall, a nicely done, easy drinking, and enjoyable lager.
Union made, of course.

Slight haze to a golden brew. A solid finger of head forms and slowly settles. Heavy lacing is left down the glass. Floral aroma along with honey and bready malt. Flavor is a bit sweet, bready, with mild bitterness. A bit of floral hops are complimentary. There is a sweet almost fruity finish. Feel of a lighter Dortmunder but has appropriate carbonation. Just a bit too sweet and too light for this drinker.
