Snowstorm 2025 Toasty Winter Lager

Last 12 oz can from a sixer, into a nonic. Pours a beautiful reddish brown with a thick creamy 2 finger head of khaki suds on top, great lacing and really excellent retention. Nose is quite pronounced. I get a lot of toasted grains, some burnt caramel, maybe a little fig or dark fruit, maybe a little dusting of chocolate. Taste heads in the direction of a dubbel, which isn't what I was expecting with all the toasty grains on the nose, but it is really tasty and full bodied. Just a hint, at the end, of some twangy lager yeast. Mouthful is great, very full without being heavy, not too crisp or dry, and no zippy bite...just kind of sits there on your tongue, but it is still clean and contained and seems well-balanced. I think I actually enjoyed this last one more than all the prior. Always enjoy this series.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, dark amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of toasted bread, caramel, toffee and spices. Sweet malty taste with toasted caramel, winter spices and subtle pine.

L-Reddish brown color...nice frothy tan head.

S-Toffee and caramel...plums, and dark chocolate..

T-Dark chocolate...plums, dark berries add a touch of tartness on the finish

F-Medium bodied..dryish on the finish

O-Enjoyable. Good beer.
