Bottle split with Brad during the NFC Championship.

Bright orange body with nary a head. Grainy aroma with notes of citrus, rain water. Tartness comes in late. Solid.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza. Aroma has overripe fruit notes like fermented apricot. Taste is tart, fruity, lactic and astringent with unripe apricot flavor.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a pale orange color with no head or lace. The aroma started with a funky orange zest, spritzy lemon pulp, some bitter rind, light woody tannins, apple cider vinegar and a little bit of floral qualities. Light funk. The flavor yields to the sour and gently blends some of the bitterness and sly rind-like qualities. Subtle herbal far underneath. Spritzy lemon to orange rind in the aftertaste, and super quick. The finish is spritzy with the carbonation feeling fairly nice. The feel sat between light and medium leaning towards more of a sipping sort of quality to it. Sour abrasiveness seemed aligned right for the style. ABV feels controlled and spot on. Overall, pretty nice sour ale. I’d have again.

On tap at Hunahpu Day. Hazy pale body. Smells of wood and stone fruit acidity. Tastes very woody. And of stone fruit. A touch acetic. Strong sourness. Medium body. Pretty good.
