White washed yellow plenty of cloud.

Tropical juices, citrus, and a splash of that unquestionable Nelson Sauvin gooseberry white wine goodness in both aroma and flavor.

Smooth and balanced with a touch of bitterness on the end. A bit creamy, as expected, and pretty easy to take down.

Par for the Great Notion course, and a great use of Nelson. Cheers.

Very cloudy straw appearance with white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a pronounce grapefruit and hops. Taste is also a nice blend of grapefruit and hops that is a little thin.

a hazy nelson brew, not so uncommon from a style standpoint, but leagues better than most of what else is out there in this field. just my third ever beer from great notion, but they have all been memorable! hazy and pale, almost green looking, like i can see the dissolved pellets in here, but it has a great head on it, still visible carbonation, and a creamy looking body. it smells amazing, nelson all day, juicy white wine, fresh peaches, honeydew, and robustly lotioned high school girl, like something out of bath and body works used like there was no tomorrow, man is this fragrant! the flavor is about there with it, less of the orchard fruit more of the wine, some kiwi and pineapple nuance too, even a little tang from it, and more oils than i am used to in the southern hemisphere types. i love the simplicity, its starchy and full, but the flavor is all about the nelson hops, and i appreciate that. creamy and rich but also dry, really effervescent carbonation helps keep it drinkable, and overall just a really nice take on this style, better than so many of them. these guys are for real! glad to have them in town this week for gabf!

16 oz can, thanks bro for picking this up- Pours the haziest of hazy IPA's pale straw golden with a large white head. Aroma is tropical, juicy explosion, mango citrus, a bit of hops, but honestly it smells like juice. The flavor is again tropical explosion in my mouth, juicy, mango, grapefruit, piney and resinous mingles well. Very delicious.

This is a review of Mandela with Nelson hops. I am not sure if that is a variant or the standard version.
This gives turbid new meaning. It is juicy smooth, with a velvety mouthfeel. Slippery, almost, orange upon orange upon orange. Delicious.

L: complete haze orange with 2 fingers of foamy white head
S: tangerine and orange juice. Sweet but balanced with a slight citrus peel aroma.
T: just like the nose, all citrus juices with slight orange peel notes.
F: this is very smooth and isn't bitter. Finishes sweet and not drying.
O: an awesome ipa!

Poured into a tulip glass from a week old crowler.

Looks like a haze yellow, color. Smells absolutely amazing, as soon as I cracked the crowler I got sweet citrus/tropical almost grapefruit smell like smell thanks to the citra, mosaic and nelson hops. The taste pretty much follows the smell, less bitter than I originally thought for a dry hopped beer, I also almost get a mango candied fruit flavor that lingers nicely. It's almost like I'm drinking juice rather than beer and I love it! The overall feel is smooth and easy and the dry hopped nelson kind of adds to the nice aftertaste. Overall amazing beer, one which I wish I had more access too all the time. Great Notion kills it again with this one! Off to drink the rest of the crowler!

Crowler of the Nelson hopped into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours hazy bronze orange with 1.5 fingers of white medium density head with moderate retention and left spotted lacing. Nose is very tropical and pleasant, some papaya and guava with citrus undertones. Taste follows the nose by much less dynamic. Finishes clean with minimal bitterness subtle astringency and little lingers. Light bodied and medium carbonation. Very nice beer.
