Was sent a crowler of this from a friend of mine. This poured out as a very hazy pulpy looking orange color. The guava is pretty strong on the aroma, some good hop aromas in there too. The taste of the beer is a little sweet but finishes with a very nice bitterness. The feel of the beer is medium bodied. Overall this beer is very good. Would drink it again.

Really hazy orange juice like pour. Smells sweet (like guava...duh) with a touch of piney hops. Taste is much the same and it is delicious. Soloed a crowler and wanted another. Would love to try more brews from Great Notion!

On tap at GN yesterday.
The beer pours a hazy golden amber color with pretty good head retention and light lacing. The nose is pretty impressive in this beer, as I pick up considerable fresh guava, along with the considerable orange and grapefruit citrus. The guava isn't as noticeable on the palate, and beer otherwise comes across as just another NE style IPA fruit bomb with very little bitterness on the finish. It's OK, but as always, my interest waned the more I drank of this beer, and it was something of a chore to down the last few ounces in the my 10.5 ounce glass. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a moderately long, lightly bitter finish. There's something of a pulpy mouthfeel in this beer, which I assume is intentional on the part of the brewer. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile.
Shrug. A nice enough beer, but not something I need to visit again any time soon.
