Double Dry Hopped Hopped Dry Double is a verbal assault on your palate. We really pushed the envelope on this imperial session IPA. We quite literally and somewhat figuratively "Dry Hopped the Hops Dry." This beer is the epitome of a friendship. Drink beer and be good to each other.

A: Pours a murky milky bright golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright orange + pale orange + peach + apricot + mango yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering approximately 20% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/pineapple + tropical/passionfruit + gooseberry + tropical/melon hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/pineapple + tropical/passionfruit + gooseberry + tropical/melon hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering tropical + citrus hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with a light amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a refreshing slightly crisp + slightly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of tropical + citrus + gooseberry hop presence.

Perfect hazy yellow, white foam.
Berry, melon.
Lemon and melon, definitely a Galaxy beer, something like orange, but not tasting anything Nelson-y. Something to notch it up would be good, but still very tasty.
Light and dry, pithy.

These folks are new on the shelf here in my area so I wanted to grab a fairly common beer to give them a go.
Nice solid semi hazy IPA. Lots of juice and a touch of bitterness. Pleasant enough...
While I liked the beer I can't see these folks sticking around here at this price point... 22 bucks for a 4 pack of 6.5% pretty good IPA wont ever make it as it's too expensive for what it is (I paid less for Hopslam) and there's Bearded Iris IPAs available next to them for 6 bucks less and they're better...
That's just reality...
It's a nice beer though...
