Inspired by Nusr_et the #saltbae and our Seattle homey, Hoyt, #hopbae is a hazy IPA loaded with Denali and Amarillo hops.

Whereas I was slightly disappointed that my beer wasn't brought out by a man-bun toting, sunglasses wearing, tanned Turkish metrosexual, the quality of the beer more than made up for what it lacks in... a viral internet celebrity.
This beer is #hops and it is #bae; dollops of orange pulp and sweet tangerine slices are the first aromatic features detectable from the glass. I don't have too much experience with Denali, but there's a faint cocktail pineapple-esque aroma that follow the initial citrus onslaught.
Typical of most Great Notion offerings, the tongue follows the nose quite symmetrically. Huge notes of fresh pulpy citrus is followed by hints of pineapple, and a dash of resinous pine. Atypical of most Great Notion offerings I've tried thus far, the brew errs on the side of dryness as opposed to juicy; this beer is dangerously repeatable.
Medium-bodied, sticky sticky consistency, with medium tongue-tickling carbonation. I now have a sudden craving for well-grilled meats sliced finely with precision and flair in an exotic locale half way across the world...
