Ripe - Double Dry-Hopped

This is one of those odd beers. It has a nice fruit aroma and taste, and you could probably drink it for breakfast. Its good but then again almost too fruity. I'm kind of mixed on my feelings about this beer.

 

 

 

4.5 all around. Pours hazy yellow with good white head. Smell is vegetal and tropical all at the same time. Bursts from the glass. You can smell and taste the Citra hop all over this thing. Nuanced and soft enough not to be oniony though.
Excellent beer. I could revisit this one more than once in a session. I actually think this beer is slightly under valued.

 

 

 

 

One of the best beers in this genre I've ever had.

Ahhhh yes Citra overload! Pours orange juice like which is a theme at this joint. Soapy white head. Nose is bright fresh citrus, bothe peel and juice. Taste of citrus zest overload. Orange grapefruit and lemon zest. Juicy orange with hints of lemon juice. Light floral that attempt to break up the citrus but ultimately fails and that’s okay. A attempt at a bitter finish falls short with this one as it is all ripe ;) Creamy mouthfeel on a medium to full body.
