It's true, we made two beers inspired by Outkast. Puppy Love was a cute lil' Session IPA, and Full Grown is of course a big DIPA. We dry-hopped this beer with a heavy hand using a blend of Simcoe, Vic Secret, and Citra. "You say it's puppy love... we say it's full grown"

pours dense hazy orange. Big white head that hangs around a bit. Looks really good.
Smell is very muted. Maybe some tropical melon.
Flavor is pretty muted too. citrusy and slightly bitter. A touch of malt. Gets really boozy as it warms. It looks and feels the part, but I don't love the flavor and nose. Just too muted, and the things that shine thru aren't what I am looking for in the style.

Can purchased at the NW location.
An ugly hazy, light orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is a modest blend of citrus, passionfruit and a little peach with an oat like creaminess. Notes of mango are present as well. The palate opens moderately juicy with a mild alcohol bite. There's mango, peach, passionfruit and some citrus, all quite tastefully done. The mid palate is full of oat and dextrinous fullness and even a little sweetness. The sweetness lingers into the finish, along with creamy fruit flavors. Medium in body and softly carbonated, the alcohol here is very well hidden, making this dangerously drinkable.

Pour: turbid bright straw yellow with bright white soapy head. Nose: floral and citrus. Taste: balanced floral to citrus, some light stone fruits and sweet dough. Balanced. Mouthfeel: medium to light body, slight creaminess for a lighter bodied beer than expected.

Canned 10/1/18, consumed 10/16/18
Poured hazy & cloudy dirty straw color with a nice head that left tons of lacing.
Aroma is outstanding - citrus/tropical/stone fruits and some peel just blast out.
Taste is all that fruity up front with some floral notes, delicious.
Feel is incredible. Creamy, smooth, soft, lower carbonation, very very low no issue bitterness. And this is 10%? that to be top of the line hazy feel.
Just wow. Amazing imperial hazy, one of the best I've had, easy to see why lots of people say Great Notion makes the best hazies out West.
