these guys are making some epic hazy beers of late, this didnt quite slap as hard as the laser wolf i had right before it, but its another banger, a wicked expression of nelson, and highly refined, smooth, fluffy, bubbly, and drinkable, its awesome how many of these great notion makes, how they all seem to have their own personality, and how downright great so many of them are. this is relatively thick, murky straw colored, but super high headed, lasting inch plus of rich white later on it, ring lacing as it drinks, and a unique nose. i get fresh mango and mandarin orange, a little cotton candy and attendant sweetness, orange popsicle, the citra hops are also obvious, some pink grapefruit in the mix, oats and wheat likely at the core of this, pale but quite grainy in the common sense for a hazy, nothing much from the yeast which is preferrable most of the time for my palate. the flavor is a lot like the nose, definitely tropical up front, a sauvignon blanc type note from the nelson, lemon from the citra, a hint of chamomile or something herbal too which is a cool wrinkle, but bitterness is kept very low. ever so slightly green, but nothing harsh here at all. its long and smooth, riding some sweetness through a lengthy finish, light coconut, pineapple, and rock candy. delicious, juicy, puffy feeling but with some weight, nice oily linger from all the hops. big time dry hop on this, intense but without burn, really tasty!

A return to above-average for GN, I would say. Typical deep hazy gold on the pour with a massive off-white head. Snappy and zippy...juicy as well as tropical, with grapefruit bitterness, some lemon-lime, bready malt backbone. Really good.

Draft at the Handlebar. Hazy yellow golden, small white foamy head. Fruity aroma, citrus, stone fruit, pine. Taste adds bready malts, light dank notes and a heavy hand if citrus peel.

Pours a Light hazy yellow straw color. Strong notes of grapefruit in the aroma and taste. Fair amount of sweetness but not cloying or syrupy. Not to shabby.

Canary yellow haze capped by two fingers of solid, creamy head. Glowing and luxurious in appearance, this one achieves the NEIPA look with medium to full on haze. Smells of berries, slight apricot, hints of citrus, musk, pine, a bit of scallion, gooseberry, white grapes, orange zest, and forest floor earth debris. Taste follows, yet not quite as robust and pleasing as the nose. Additional suggestions of lychee, mango, and passion fruit. The finish is thin, somewhat watery, and devoid of any coating feel that I would prefer. Decent offering; worth a try.

Pours a murky light straw yellow with a thin bright white head. Nose is fragrant. The Nelson and Citra! Citrus and tropical fruit mingle;) taste not as spectacular as nose but still get toned down notes of orange peel, grapefruit pith, melon and ripe mango. Light bit of maltyness shines through to balance it out. Thin on the body, at times watery. Hoppy finish.
