Passionate IPA is a tart IPA brewed with sea salt, fermented with passion fruit puree, and aged on vanilla bean. This is a new beer for us, and another which pushes the boundaries of the IPA style.

Crowler canned 10/11/18, consumed 10/27/18
Pours uniformly hazy & cloudy dirty straw color with no head at all, no lacing. Basically looks like tropical fruit juice.
Strong, bright passion fruit aroma, again a lot like juice. Hints of vanilla present as well. Taste follows, tart fruit juiciness
Medium feel, just slightly sour, good carbonation, no real bitterness.
Overall a terrific fruit-infused beer, sort of right between an NEIPA and a sour IPA. Like with other GN brews, this one stands out a cut above most everything around here.
