Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery snifter
A: Pours slightly hazy brownish copper amber with a frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Maple syrup and blueberry jump out with the sweetness being countered by a pleasant mild tartness, followed by smooth roasty coffee and faint smoke, wrapped up with a little toasty bready malt.
T: So much going on at the same time! Pleasant mild tartness, blueberry, maple syrup, smooth fresh coffee, a hint of smoke, and slightly toasty bready malt.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, a little chewy.
O: Tastes like Saturday morning breakfast all in 1 glass. Also reminds me of some blueberry coffee I had a little while ago. I can't say that I ever would have come up with this wild combination to add to a sour, but I think they nailed what they were going for. The label mentioning added caramel coloring is curious though... To be honest, it's not the prettiest looking thing and I think they could have gotten away without it.

1 PINT can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours a dark orangish brown color and is hazed. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Blueberry, maple, and coffee aroma. The coffee is subtle.
Blueberry flavor upfront followed by maple. The tartness comes next with coffee rounding out the flavor.
Medium bodied with a slightly dry mouthfeel
This is pretty tasty. It is a delicious breakfast in a can. I even thought I tasted sausage a one point. It just evokes such a breakfast experience.

Reddish purple appearance with slight white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a maple slight coffee. Taste is also a maple slight coffee mild sour.

Unbalanced Breakfast pours a ruby-copper; minimal carbonation and lacing. The aroma is layered, alternating from blueberry to maple syrup between whiffs. The taste is similarly layered, with the coffee showing up as well, but the overall effect doesn’t come together quite as well as it does in the aroma. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but is tart and mildly warming.
