Luminous is our series of Sour IPA's and each batch is uniquely different. Luminous 04 was fermented with Lactobacillus, house yeast, and milk sugar. We conditioned this unique beverage on Meyer Lemon, Vanilla Bean, Buddha's Hand, and toasted Coconut.

On tap at Great Notion
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Bright lemon, vanilla, sweet coconut, lacto tartness, and a little light crackery malt.
T: Bright zesty Meyer lemon, lacto tartness, light touch of vanilla, a little crackery malt, and a little sweet coconut comes through on the finish.
M: Light to medium body, lively carbonation.
O: Can't say I've had anything quite like it before, but was definitely intrigued by it and decided to see what's up.
Wouldn't mind the coconut coming through a bit more, but still a very cool refreshing beer.
