Do you remember Neopolitan ice cream from your childhood? I never got it - but I never liked chocolate ice cream (though like chocolate in other forms (NOT pudding!!)) and if I wanted strawberry, I would have strawberry, not diluted vanilla strawberry (with that chocolate I don't like....). So...
Solid black pour - split two ways - first half nice and clear, second got some sediment - half finger brownish head.
Aroma kicks with Neopolitan ice cream from my childhood; strawberry dominates a bit, but note also chocolate - a bit jammy. As warmed there was a definite vanilla smell and some coffee - cafe au lait.
Tastes again of Neopolitan ice cream - fruity though lighter on the strawberry - chocolate, vanilla, mocha. Sweet with lactose and chocolate covered berry.
Medium bodied for 10% with very active, prickly carbonation - no real boozy heat despite the 10% ABV - finishes fruity, chocolatey, and sweet.

This is pretty amazing. The strawberries and vanilla pop really nicely, giving off this fruity milkshake vibe. The cocoa and chocolate malts add the last bit that you need for a Neapolitan flavor. At this age, the nuttiness has died off. Full bodied.

Didn't really like this beer. It didn't compare with the sweetness and wholesomeness to the Other Half stouts, and was pretty weak in overall feel. Not a fan.
