Found this 16oz can across the border in Oregon, pretty excited for it; dark black pour, opaque but thinnish looking, hefty khaki head. The nose is explosively sweet and chocolatey with a good dose of coffee and marshmallow, with some nice notes of vanilla. Smooth, rich and sweet but also roasty, fairly balanced and not cloying. Loved the nose more than the flavor, but overall its a congruent and decent pastry stout.

On tap at Himmeriget.
Pours jet black wih light, chocolate colored foam.
Smell is rich and roasty with notes of fudge, chocolate, coffee and a hint of smoke.
Taste is sweet and rich with notes of fudge, chocolate, coffee, coffee grounds and a slight bitterness. Lasting finish and quite complex.
Mouthfeel is full, thick and oily with good carbonation.
Overall, a superb stout, thick and flavorful.

Dark brown with highlights showing around the top. Wanted to form a khaki crown but never fully managed.
The nose brings a slightly bitter, fully roasted coffee. Vanilla lingers throughout and some crust/graham cracker even shows up.
The taste follows the nose well. Roasty and bitter coffee playing well with vanilla that’s like marshmallows and slight graham crackers. There’s a roastiness that’s like being by a campfire and having these flavors hit you.
The mouthfeel coats with a sticky sweetness without being too thick and still lets the roasty coffee cut through.
Overall, I like this a lot.
