Sweet dankness smell
Looks juicy
Lots of mouthfeel but a good crisp
Maybe a little sweet for me but that is common with GN
Such a great beer

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Appearance is a hazy dark yellow. Aroma and flavor feature citrus, tropical fruit, and dank grassy hops, with a substantial malt backbone. Mouthfeel is smooth and round but a bit on the sweet/cloying side. Overall, an excellent NEIPA.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy yeloow golden pour, initial thick foamy white head and lots of sediment. Aroma is fruity, citrus zest, grapefruit. Taste continues, grapefruit, pineapple, bready malts, lingering zestiness. Creamy feel, thick.

great hop combination on this, hazy but not heavy or messy, sometimes great notion can go a little overboard with the haze, the greenness, the dry hopping, but this one seems a little more dialed in, and as such as more drinkable and bright, great to have these guys selling beer in idaho now, finally starting to demystify some of these beers. yellow and pale, uniformly cloudy, but no visible sediment in this, and not overly starchy or yeasty to me. the nose rules, nelson is immediately recognizable, sauvignon blanc, green pear, and white peach notes to it, a faint onion thing from the sabro, and the soft lemon curd of the citra, all evident, all fresh, and without any bite. the bitterness seems low, the grain is earthy and dry, a little cereal note to it, and the fermentation is clean and minimal, very pleasant. the flavor is juice and southern hemisphere to me, kiwi fruit, ripe green melon, more pear, a little lemon too from the citra, slightly oily and palate coating but not heavy from haze and grain. slight peach to this, white grapefruit too, less of the sabro in taste than in smell, a wheaty foundation it seems, a cleanness to the whole thing that keeps it dry and light, and a springy herbal element right on the finish, almost in the place of bitterness. cool hop combination, slightly creamy feel, good proportions, decidedly contemporary. maybe not among the best of the best hoppy beers they make, but its darn good!

A very, very good hazy IPA from GN, less than a month old at the time of tasting. Bright, hazy gold with a large white cap; herbal, spicy, woody, white wine, bright citrus fruit, lemon peel, mint, coconut, diesel, crackery grains, all present and really showcasing all three hop varietals. Good stuff.
