Not your typical IPA, but it is an amazing treat. Hands down favorite brew from Great Notion. The strawberry, vanilla and toasted rice (mochi) flavor blend beautifully together. Very sad if this doesn't return to the rotation this spring.

opaque pinkish in color, white head. Strawberry in the aroma. taste also, but has slight tartness, a touch of vanilla and rice in there in the finish.

Pours reddish light brown, with some white foam. Smells very nicely of strawberry and vanilla, some lactose. Nice mouthfeel, just the right amount of carbonation. Taste is slightly tart, with loads of strawberries and vanilla. Awesome balance. Fruity.

A rare GN miss for me. The hop bite clashes with the strawberry sweetness, and the lactose and vanilla somehow don’t show up all that much. Medium copper body, medium carbonation, mildly astringent berry finish. Messy.

L: A radiantly beautiful ruby red grapefruit hue with a fast fizzing head to a ring of bubbles and no lacing.
S: Vanilla and it seems more red grapefruit to me than strawberry.
T: Quite bitter and more grapefruit. There is a little IPA hop presence there as well.
F: Smooth bit more so bitter and tannic, sour like grapefruit too.
O: Not bad but an oddball of an IPA.
