Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 12-12-25 into a snifter at 46.7 degrees F.
Appearance- Medium gold, very hazy, slightly off white creamy head, slightly above average head retention, above average lacing.
Aroma- Clementine, papaya, cantaloupe, pith, pine resin, between medium and high strength of scent.
Flavor- Clementine, papaya, pith, cantaloupe, pine resin, subtle blueberry, high strength of flavor.
Mouthfeel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, soft, very subtle astringency, moderately bitter, moderately sweet, highly creamy, moderately mouth warming, mildly mouth coating, mildly dry finish.
Overall- Medium gold and very hazy with slightly above average head retention and above average lacing. The bouquet was a great mix of clementine, papaya, cantaloupe and pine resin with more than adequate strength. The flavor followed the nose with even greater intensity and the welcome addition of subtle notes of blueberry. The mouthfeel consisted of a pillowy soft medium-full body with very subtle astringency at a perfect level. Also, moderate bitterness and sweetness with a high creaminess rounded out a great all round mouthfeel. Overall, this beer was well above average in every category and provided an outstanding drinking experience.

16oz can pours bright golden and hazy with a small off-white head. The honey sweetness is prominent to me on both the palate and the nose...this one does have a powerful dose of Mosaic that leans pungently tropical and zesty, with some minor dankness and citrus as well. Boozy to me. Overall a good triple IPA but it punches you back a bit.

16oz can at share. Hazy yellow golden pour with a white foamy head. Aroma is tropical and fruity, hoppy. Taste brings more juicy hops, mild dank notes. Velvety, creamy feel.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours a nice golden yellow with quickly disappearing head. Nose is pine resin, grapefruit peel, honey, mint, damp wood, and a nice floral note. The taste is really smooth. Not overly bitter, but not overly sweet. More tropical notes start to creep in here. Papaya, mango. The grapefruit is there, but now it's the flesh of the fruit rather than the peel. Definitely getting a good dose of honey and pine. The aftertaste is relatively sweet (from the honey), and I'm also getting some brown sugar at this stage. This is a really interesting triple IPA since it's a bit hoppy and sweet at the same time. The ABV (over 10%) is very hidden - dangerously so. Overall, this is a fantastic beer.

On tap at NW Growlers today.
The beer pours a golden amber Color with good head retention and decent lacing. The version at NW Growlers is not hazy. According to the menu at NW Growlers, this beer has a 100% mosaic hops. Could be I guess. There's some noticeable tropical fruit, but it's not as prominent as I would expect in a 100% mosaic tipa. There's a hint of underlying dank earth as well, which I appreciate. The flavor profile replicates the nose for the most part, but this tipa is pretty sweet. That's not exactly unusual in a high abv ipa, but the sweetness in this beer seems just a bit much. On the other hand, I'm impressed with this beer's mouthfeel. The beer is not the least bit hot or heavy on the finish, and the alcohol seems to very well integrated into the flavor profile. No mean feat in an ipa with 10% abv. Finish is long and fairly clean. A touch more bitterness on the finish would help this beer immensely IMHO.
It's not easy making a tipa that isn't over the top sweet and boozy, and at least Great Notion has done a great job on the booziness side of the equation. In the end, while nothing extraordinary, this is a pretty good effort from the folks at GN. A bit less sweetness would help this beer a lot.

16oz can
Pours nearly two fingers of white head into my Willi glass. Retention is pretty good, steadily fades for a few minutes, settling into a nice rim. Initial lacing looks pretty solid. Body is orange, hazy, but not as orange juice-looking as most of GN beers, despite the name. Looks pretty good so far.
Nose is sweet, juicy, orange, faint mango, some bitterness. Basically exactly like marmalade. Smells good, but surprisingly, not a lot going on.
Flavor is huge, and maybe a little too much so. Very flavorful, but man is there a lot of sugar here. They try to hide it, but it’s pretty obvious. So often I find myself saying “wow this hazy is actually pretty tame with regards to sugar”, not here. Unclear if this is fermented with honey or added post fermentation; it doesn’t taste like honey, and the can didn’t explode, both would indicate pre ferment, but the sweetness would suggest post. Big orange, and like the nose, this tastes exactly like marmalade. Maybe a touch of dankness hidden in the background. I guess this is “as advertised” but even I wouldn’t have expected this. Needless to say, I’m not a big fan. I wouldn’t go as far as to say “gross” but that’s where my mind is heading. Parts of it are nice, but it’s pretty undermined by the sugar. Drinking this will give me the same caloric shame as eating a cake from Walmart.
Carbonation is on the lower end. Body is medium. Bitterness is very low. The sweetness surely effects mouthfeel as much as flavor here, and I’m not sure which one it damages more; not a great mouthfeel either.
Drinkability is not good. It hides the alcohol well, but that achievement is quickly ruined by the sugar. Reminds me of drinking a Four Loko.
Appearance turned out ok, lacing was minimal.
Overall, not very good. I guess adding the maximum amount of hops, grain, and adjuncts finally caught up to GN. Let me rephrase that, I’m confident it caught up to them a long time ago, but I somehow dodged it till now.

Can. White head. Golden orange color.
The abv shows with this one. Unlike BS triples. A bit too boozey for my liking. Definitely get the honey sweetness. Floral and grassy hops. Fairly tropical and juicy. A lot or orange and mango. Papaya too.

Sweet, tropical hoppy, and trop-hoppy dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a honey sweet, tropical hoppy, and sweet mosaic dank finish...I like how this is nicely balanced between the honey sweet vibes and the mosaic dank notes. For 10.5% this is darn near crushable and hides the ABV really well! This is outstanding!
