This is exceptional, as good is can be for a double hazy. Awesome, fruity blast with an astringent, bitter finish. This is the best brew of the summer for me, I’m very impressed

16oz can from Bert's. Hazy golden, small foamy head. Aroma is stone fruit, tropical, a bit of citrus, bready malts, a real noseful. Taste brings subtle sweetness, light dank, herbal, fruity. Really full and creamy.

On tap at brewery:
Peach to yellow cloud with a fairly nice head. Nose of funky citrus rind, a bit of sweet orange zest, and a little pithy vegetal greens. Opening sweetness (guessing non-malt grain adjuncts are used) lingers longer as the beer warms. Initially it turns to the pithy citrus bitterness fairly quickly. Increased temps bring tropical notes, not fully ripe ones, however. Lastly, it has a some pine in back, a mix of wood and somewhat dry needles. Overall it came to me as a nicely bitter new school beer while having a few sweet/fruity notes to keep it from being too old school.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, fine head.
Smell is dank and a bit sweet. Notes of gummy candy, orange, grapefruit, orange sorbet and canned peaches.
Taste is juicy and dank with notes of gummy candy, citrus, peach, pineapple and a bit of booze. Soft bitterness, and dangerously easy to drink.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a great DIPA, as expected from GN.
