Fantastic hazy that showcases a butt-load of Citra, and does it quite well. Pours deep golden and hazy from a 16oz can; bright white foamy and soapy head. Massive tropical fruit notes, clear and plain as day, mango and pineapple, also orange citrus fruits and melon, stone fruit. Lower bitterness, fluffy & yeasty body, but easily drinkable for me.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a mild white head. SRM of 7. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong arommas of orange, mango, sweet pineapple. Sweaty and sweet. Some tropical notes underneath. Warm orange, pineapple, and mango mostly
Flavor: Strong juicy flavors of orange, mango, pineapple. Sweaty and juicy. Some oily and plastic notes begin to develop before the fruit overcomes for the finish. No bitterness.
Feel: Heavier bodied. Low to moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is soft and a smooth finish. (4.00)
Compared to Modist/Great Notion Gifts from Above 6/23/22: Pours lighter and hazier. More orange, pineapple mango. Less lychee, green apple, orchardfruit, melon.
Overall: A sweaty and juicy NEIPA here. Showcases the orange, pineapple, and mango flavors well. Warm and sweaty fruit flavors. (Rating: 4.17)

Poured from a 1 pint can.
A: Pours a hazy dirty yellowish/orange with a thin lasting white head.
S: A nice nose of tropical fruits.
T: A rather tart style IPA with a nice bitter finish.
F: Medium body and nice and smooth.
O: Well nothing special but all in all a nice IPA.

rad can art on this and always a treat to get to drink some great notion, they carry so much hype its hard not to expect the world from each of them, and with that, this one underdelivers i think. its insanely hazy, thick because of it, and more and more so as it gets closer to the bottom of the can, where it almost looks sandy or gritty. good head through, and bright and juicy and dry hoppy nose, familiar, citra forward it seems with some grapefruit and meyer lemon out front, just a little vegetal greenness though and it doesnt seem as clean as the best of these, freshness may be waning, but it smells appealing. the flavor is just a bit muted compared to the nose, and quite a bit of grain character is present here, pale as it is, its wheaty even oaty to me, starchy as such, fuller bodied and on the dry side, but like cheerios too. the hops taste pleasant, cant tell for sure which are in here, but they work well together and there is a definite orange juice and grapefruit juice aspect to this without it being pithy or bitter, its good, it just seems unrefined for such a beloved operation and frankly tastes a lot like what everyone else is doing with the style, nothing really special about it, had way higher hopes. i should just consider myself lucky to even be drinking their beer, but hoping the next one i encounter leaves more of an impression. i had this between beers in the same style from bale breaker and prison city, and this was easily the least exciting and well executed of the three...
