A new offering from our experimental series of Mochi beers, this batch was fermented with toasted rice, flaked oats, peaches, marshmallow, and milk sugar.

This Mochi variant pours an orange-gold; completely opaque. The aroma is a mix of peach and Rice Krispies (which, given the lactose added, isn't surprising); however, the ratio of peach/artificial candy flavor doesn't work quite as well in the taste profile, with the latter dominating the former. The mouthfeel is fairly light for a 7% ABV beer; finishes slightly tart initially and then lingers with some warming sweetness. Overall, this beer isn't quite the sum of its parts.
