Poured from a 1 Pint can. Canned on 06/14/2021
A nice hazy pour the nose is a sweet dankness.
Somewhat disappointed with this one until it warms up a bit, the taste really changes for the better.
Lots of pine resin taste for a NEIPA but still very drinkable.

L: hazy Lemon juice
S: piney, hoppy some bread from the malts
T: not getting the grassyness, but for me, but it is earthy, piney with a touch of citrus
F: let it warm and the mouthfeel & taste improves
Can was dated 14 june 2021.

16oz can from the Boblink. Hazy, pale golden , sparse head. Aroma takes a peek at some bready malts, light citrus notes too. Taste is gentle and soft, biscuit malts , piney, earthy hops, more faint citrus. Ends up felling a lot bigger than as pesented on the palate. Sneaky llittle MFer.

This brilliant addition from Great Notion tastes like a mix between Ripe (which is a perfect beer) and Juice Jr. (which is another favorite from GN). Strata, Vic Secret, and Citra - but it almost has ghost notes of Mosaic. Really, really well balanced beer and very drinkable. Similar to Ripe (and many Great Notion beers), in that the beer gets better as it warms up and you get to the bottom of your glass. I recently took a trip to MA to visit Treehouse, and they make fantastic NE style IPAs - some of the best in the world - but I honestly don't think they are better than Great Notion. Lately they have been releasing 5+ new beers per month, and this latest one is among their best. Points for creativity and innovation, and major points for making a Life Aquatic-themed IPA. Cheers to anyone lucky enough to snag this gem.
