another good hazy from these guys, awesome to get to drink it so fresh off the tap at their seattle location. i have been critical of all the flavored stuff becoming their identity, but these guys still crush the hoppy beers, always have, and it was rad to get to drink a bunch of them here, kind of restores my faith in great notion a little bit. this one is quite pale, yellowish but still bright, frosted over looking, frothy headed, maybe a little lighter than some of their others in the glass, especially for a double, unexpected. citra, galaxy, and nectaron hops in here, these all seem built to go together, citra at its best with others, here its meyer lemon from citra leaning into key lime and lime leaf from galaxy, and ripe fleshy stone fruit from the nectaron, summery, soft, and really well proportioned, seems like equal contributions from each in both aroma and flavor. peach and apricot, lemongrass and lemon verbena, juicy tanegrine, really good. the alcohol does creep in a little bit as it sits, and the body seems to get a little more dense too, but i like the dryness, the finish is awesome. this is delicious, reminds me of some of the beers like this actually from new england. neat mixture of hop varietals that are all super compatible.

Big golden haze. Grapefruit, spicy herbal bite, tropical fruit, caramel and a touch of caramel and white sugar. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice sweetness to it, a bit sweeter than I’d like but still tasty.
