A pint can is easily emptied into a clear glass liter mug, as there's no head at all. The color of the brew is a ruby-amber one that's somewhat bright, but almost fully opaque. The aroma is a muddled one, certainly cherry does not stand out by itself. There's definitely some presence of lactose, which is becoming more prevalent and therefore, more identifiable. Unfortunately, the taste here is also muddled. There is some cherry flavor, but it shouldn't be considered pronounced. The lactose definitely knocks down any decent sourness this might have offered. There's some nice carbonation and with the added milk sugar, the body and mouthfeel are fine. This just doesn't taste right. It's, to reuse the word, muddled and without any distinction between its ingredients. Great Notion makes some wonderful concoctions that could be considered desert sours, but this one falls short.

Had on tap. Cloudy bright candy cherry red with a white cap. Smell and taste are the same as there is not a ton of nuance, unsurprisingly. It is the filling of cherry pie in a glass, sweet and lesser so tart all the way. Sugary textures build as you drink it, but otherwise a standard kettle sour body. The wife loved it.

Nowhere near as good as the "berry" Baked I had a while back, but still tasty.
